Vegan Black Bean Sliders!

All vegan/plant-based birthday party Black Bean Sliders! 🍔 💚Ingredients:

4 (14 ounce) cans black beans, drained, rinsed, and patted dry

2 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

1 finely chopped green bell pepper

1 finely chopped yellow onion

6 garlic cloves, minced

2 teaspoons ground cumin

2 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 cup oat flour

2 large eggs (or Flaxseeds)

2 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (vegan)

2 Tablespoons ketchup

pinch salt + pepper


1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Spread beans evenly onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until slightly dried out.

2. Meanwhile, sauté olive oil, chopped pepper, onion, and garlic over medium heat until peppers and onions are soft, about 5-6 minutes. Gently blot some of the moisture out.

3. Place in a large bowl or in a food processor with the remaining ingredients. Stir or pulse everything together, then add the black beans. Mash with a fork or pulse the mixture, leaving some larger chunks of beans. 💚To bake: Place patties on a medium/high heat, slighting oiled (avocado oil) pan, spooning 2 Tablespoons at a time. 💚Used potato buns, topped with guacamole, red onions, vegan cheese, and lettuce. Serve with sweet potato fries! Add anything else you love ❤️
